Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor
has officially wrapped up his fourth collaboration with acclaimed
filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the actor
shared his excitement and a behind-the-scenes picture from the sets and praised
his co-stars for making the journey memorable.
The yet-to-be-revealed project
boasts a powerful ensemble cast, including Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar,
Farida Jalal, and Avinash Tiwary. Shahid also teased that the film features
two special songs with Disha Patani and hinted at a surprise co-star
whose identity remains under wraps.
Reflecting on his journey with
Vishal Bhardwaj, Shahid wrote:
“Excitement levels are off the
charts. Our secretly titled, soon-to-be-announced film is done. As always, it’s
a new world and a madly different character for me to play. A titular part from
him for the third time. I am one of the Kaminey. I am Haider. And
now I am (sic).”
The actor expressed heartfelt
gratitude to his co-stars:
- About Triptii Dimri, Shahid said he had a “total
blast” working with her and asked fans to “watch out for her act in
this one.”
- Thanking Nana Patekar, he appreciated the
“oh-so-layered scenes” they shared together.
- On Farida Jalal, Shahid mentioned her warmth and
grace on set.
- For Avinash Tiwary, Shahid jokingly recalled
their bond over a playlist during a drive.
He also praised Disha Patani
for their two songs together:
“Have to say, @dishapatani, you and
I killed the 2 songs, and I can’t wait to collaborate again—you are so much
fun.”
The actor concluded by thanking
producer Sajid Nadiadwala for backing the project while teasing fans
about the secret co-star:
“This one’s SUPER SPECIAL.”
On the work front, Shahid was last
seen in Rosshan Andrrews’ Deva, alongside Pooja Hegde and Pavail
Gulati. While the film earned ₹59.36 crore at the box office, fans now
eagerly await this new, mysterious project that promises another powerhouse
performance from Shahid.
