 "Sikandar" is an eagerly awaited Hindi-language action film directed by A.R. Murugadoss, renowned for his work on "Ghajini" and "Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty."

 

The film features Salman Khan in dual roles, marking his first collaboration with Murugadoss. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, "Sikandar" boasts a star-studded ensemble cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.

 

The project was officially announced in April 2024, coinciding with Eid celebrations, generating significant excitement among fans and the film industry. Principal photography commenced in June 2024 in Mumbai, with subsequent schedules filmed across various locations in Europe and India.

 

The production has been ambitious, with elaborate sets and high-octane action sequences, including aerial stunts and intense combat scenes. Despite facing challenges such as heavy rains in Mumbai and security concerns due to threats against Salman Khan, the team has persevered to keep the project on track.

 

The film's music is composed by Pritam, with a background score by Santhosh Narayanan, promising a dynamic and engaging soundtrack. The cinematography is handled by Tirru, and editing is by Vivek Harshan, both bringing their expertise to enhance the film's visual appeal.

 

"Sikandar" is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 30, 2025, aligning with the festive occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
