Raj Khosla directed and wrote the 1967 Hindi suspense thriller Anita, which starred Manoj Kumar and Sadhana. The movie is the third and final installment in Khosla and Sadhana's suspense-thriller trilogy. The two earlier movies in the series were Mera Saaya from 1966 and Who Kaun Thin? from 1964. At the box office, the movie was a bust. The 1958 film "Vertigo" served as inspiration for the movie's plot twist.
