"SANKRANTHIKI VASTHUNAM" - HINDI MOVIE TRAILER REVIEW

 "Sankranthiki Vasthunam", is an eagerly awaited Telugu-language action-comedy film, directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on January 14, 2025, aligning with the festive occasion of Sankranthi.

 

The narrative centers on Yadagari Damodara Raju, affectionately known as Y.D. Raju, portrayed by Venkatesh. A former Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Raju is drawn back into action when his ex-girlfriend, Meenakshi, an IPS officer played by Meenakshi Chaudhary, seeks his assistance in solving a high-profile kidnapping case involving Satya Akella, the CEO of a multinational corporation. Complicating matters, Raju's wife, Bhagyalakshmi, depicted by Aishwarya Rajesh, joins the mission, leading to a series of comedic and action-packed events.

 

The ensemble cast includes notable actors such as Sarvadaman D. Banerjee, Srinivasa Reddy, P. Sai Kumar, Upendra Limaye, Naresh, VTV Ganesh, and Srinivas Avasarala, each contributing to the film's dynamic storytelling. The music composition is handled by Bheems Ceciroleo, marking his first collaboration with both Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi. The soundtrack features tracks like "Godari Gattu," "Meenu," and "Blockbuster Pongal," which have already resonated with audiences, enhancing the film's festive appeal.

 

Filming took place across various locations, including Rajahmundry, Hyderabad, Kasaragod, Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Rishikesh, providing a rich visual backdrop to the narrative. The collaboration between Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi in "Sankranthiki Vasthunam" marks their third project together. 

 

Upon its release, the film garnered positive reviews from critics. "Sankranthiki Vasthunam" is poised to be a festive entertainer, combining action and comedy to cater to family audiences during the Sankranthi season. The film's release is highly anticipated, with expectations of it becoming a significant success in early 2025.
