Review of the movie, Director Luo Luo's 'Almost Love' is not an adaptation of any novel, but an original screenplay written by her along with Zhai Pei based on the Indian hit. The movie actually has an interesting premise: a high school friendship slowly blossoms into romance and then falls apart in real life — but there's no regret on the girl's part because the two got on so well. They may be in the best time of their lives.
