Movie “Where the Crawdads Sing” is an adaptation of Dalia Owens’s novel of the same name, about an abandoned girl Kya living a lonely and isolated life in the swamp, is forced to face the world when is accused of a murder. Is she guilty? 

Movie directed by Olivia Newman from the screenplay of Lucy Alibar. It’s produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter. Its cinematography by Polly Morgan and Edited by Alan Edward Bell. Music by Mychael Danna and Taylor Swift together. Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Taylor John Smith, Harris Dickinson, Michael Hyatt, Sterling Macer Jr. and David Strathairn.

Although Kya’s mother and siblings moved away from their abusive father in hopes of a better future, Kya persevered. The swamps become her best friend, her only constant when people leave and the seasons change. As the months turn into years, she learns to live alone.
