“Goodnight Mommy” is the remake of an Austria movie released in 2014. The remake has done by director Matt Sobel, written by Kyle Warren from the screeplay of Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala, It’s about a twin brothers arrive at their mother’s house and begin to suspect that something isn’t right. Movie produced by Joshua Astrachan. Cinematography by Alexander Dynan and edited by Maya Mafiolli and Michael Taylor. Music composed by Alex Weston. Movie starring Naomi Watts, Cameron Crovetti, Nicholas Crovetti, Peter Harmann, Jeremy Bobb and Crystal Lucas-Perry.

When a director who has already created a successful impression among the audience takes up a subject for his film, the pressure to deliver a successful film multiplies. If you have the name 'Goodnight Mummy', you suffer from this syndrome. This horror drama has it all, both kids are great and Naomi Watts delivers once again great performance, but somehow things just don't go right. There are many factors that rob visitors of what a roller coaster ride can be. The fun factor is almost non-existent and some key elements of the story are given no plausible explanation. It could have been a better movie, but the plot holes make 'Goodnight Mummy' a mediocre experience for the audience.
