“Pleasure” Review!

“Pleasure” Review!

Writer-director: Ninja Thyberg

"Pleasure" is about a young woman in her career as a porn star. Writer and director Ninja Thyberg has created a full-fledged female portrait in his feature film that could outpace senior film star Sofia Shipp in real life. Each performance is honest with life, and in some cases, older movie stars play alternate versions of their own. For better or worse, the most successful aspect of happiness is the forever dreadful 2022.

Thyberg's approach is raw, but never superficial, and as a result, "Pleasure" focuses on an industry audience rarely rooted in such realism. As Bella Cheri (Ship) continues her career in adult cinema from Sweden to Los Angeles, it goes over her head. Even in her first shoot, other women in the industry like her are known to take advantage of the new blood. So, when Bella passes by a house with obscene women, she dies first. Eventually, she finds a friend in her roommate Joy (Zelda Morrison), and can see for herself that the people on set lied to her. The newly formed group of friends start going to networking events together and Bella slowly becomes a rising star. After recovering from the effects of the first, her second scene succeeds as a sexual revelation and ultimately shows more desire for the kind of scenes she wants to do. However, his third scene is a nightmare that forces him to rethink his entire life.

Thyberg has done a wonderful job of making the most of expansion in its infancy. Simply put, "happiness" is unbelievable. The film relies entirely on its lead character and Thyberg's vision is clear as of day. This isn't a Los Angeles movie with dozens of wide shots. This is a film with close-up and hand-held camera work. While that shooting style is common, the uniqueness of this feat in "Pleasure" is that he is a non-actor who does close-ups and neck-to-neck knockouts of emotion.

The couple gains weight easily, and she always feels like the funniest person in any room she steps on. Thyberg and the couple agree wholeheartedly, but there are horrifying moments in any scene where the couple is in danger on set. Countless people use pornography, and although it is easy to see how terrible it is from an artist's point of view, it is still a profession. "Happiness" is a portrait of a woman just like the pursuit of the workplace. By the age of 19, anyone who enters this industry has the potential to lose themselves mentally and emotionally. But in every scene where the ship is portrayed in an adult film, the film shows the audience that something terrible always happens, even on the best of days, with potential damage to her body.

"Pleasure" is one of the best movies of the year, and it won't fly under the radar. Seeking sex is a penny in Hollywood, but Tyberg isn't interested in sex, he's interested in people who are interested in sex. No judgment, no casteism.
