“Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers”

Review!

Director: Akiva Schaefer

Director Akiva Schaefer's "Chip Dale: Rescue Rangers" features two Chipmunks actors in the hit series. "Rescue Rangers" ends when Dale (Andy Zumberg) tries to go it alone, disappointing Chip (John Mulaney). Years later, the two friends stopped talking to each other. Dale wants to claim how little fame he has left behind by attending conventions and sticking to fake projects, while Chip quit acting altogether to work for insurance. However, when their former "Rescue Rangers" co-star Monterey Jack (Eric Bana) disappears into the latest in a bizarre kidnapping, Chip and Dale have to solve the case with the help of bright-eyed detective Ellie Whitefield.

Chip N Dale: The beginning of Rescue Rangers reveals that the missing animated characters are the victims of a process known as "bootlegging", which is one of the more clever parts of the screenplay by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand. The stunningly elegant concept plays with the various animation styles that exist in the film. Between handwriting and CGI, "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers" showcases the entire history of animation, and is notable as a showcase for the industry as a whole. The combination of live-action and animation is excellent.

"Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers" really jumps into guest roles. Here are some of the characters' jaw-dropping characters, including a recurring character from a major non-Disney franchise and the subject of a lot of jokes online. In some ways, "Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers" leans heavily on its willingness to fill in a number of meta-jokes and references throughout the one-and-a-half hour-long runtime. Thanks to the new material, there are even some bad comments about the reboot. Gregor and Mande get some footage of it, but 'Rescue Rangers soon focuses more on the bootlegging mystery. In doing so, it becomes a more traditional film, albeit with less interesting noir flourishing.

Yet, when it comes to casting a comedy duo, there is no one better than Zamberg and Mulani. Of the two, Mulani is the one who really needs to be taken more seriously, as he is more practical and cautious than Chip Dell. As a result, Mulani has not been able to hone his skills as a cheerleader, which makes Chip's character a bit frustrated. In the form of the Samberg Dale brings reckless energy and finds success. Together, Samberg and Mulani are a loyal couple of longtime friends. Will Arnett (as Peter Pan) and J.K. Simmons (as Captain Putty), and some returning members of the original 'Rescue Rangers' crew. Lane gets the biggest human role as Ellie, although she is certainly a talented performer, which does not give much depth to her character, which immerses her in the animated antics.

Of course, Disney fans will have the opportunity to find all the references and take a few shots of the shining studio in their library. Of course, "Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers" has parts that offer some fun and laughter. Often creativity gets stuck in context and standard mystery. "Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers" still offers an attractive viewing experience, regardless of the extra luggage.
