Shamshera is a 2022  Hindi  period action drama film produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films and directed by Karan Malhotra. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in dual role, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Vaani Kapoor, Ronit Roy, and Saurabh Shukla. It follows the captivity of an oppressed warrior tribe during the British Raj. Shamshera was released on 22 July 2022 to mixed-to-negative reviews from critics and eventually emerged as a box-office bomb.
