Sanju is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language biographical movie directed and edited by Rajkumar Hirani, written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi, and produced by Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra under the banner of  Rajkumar Hirani Movies and Vinod Chopra Movies. The film narratives the existence of Bollywood entertainer Sanjay Dutt with primary parts carrying his habit of drugs, his arrest for his connection with the 1993 Bombay bombings, his relationship with his dad, his rebound in the business, the possible drop of charges from the Bombay bombings and release in the wake of finishing his prison term. Ranbir Kapoor stars as the title character, alongside a troupe supporting cast.
