“Fall”

Movie Review

"Fall" is a survival thriller directed and co-written by Scott Mann. The film stars Grace Caroline Currie, Virginia Gardner, Mason Gooding and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Peggy and Hunter are best friends who are adrenaline junkies. Peggy suffers a great loss when her husband Don falls to his death while rock climbing.

51 weeks after Don's death, Peggy is a depressed alcoholic who is estranged from her father, James, because she suggests that Don is not as good a man as Peggy made him out to be. Desperate to support Peggy, Hunter invites her to climb a 2,000-foot television tower in the desert. Although Becky hesitates, she changes her mind and decides not to live in fear.

The girls spread Dan's ashes over the tower. However, the ladder they were using earlier collapses before they can climb down. Have two smartphones but no signal. Peggy and Hunter struggle with dehydration, starvation, and vultures as they try to reach out for help. They try to send a message from Hunter's phone by throwing a shoe from the tower, but the phone is broken. Some people below notice Hunter and Becky trapped in the tower, but decide to steal their car instead of helping.
